Workgroup File Admin user account

As part of securing a database, it's important to add a password to:

* The Admin user account (to activate the Logon dialog box).

I accidently cleared the "admin" user account password using the "Clear
Password" button when logged in with a user account in the ADMINS group.

The text above explained why when that happened and I reopened the DB using
the workgroup file it would not open the DB b/c the logon box wasn't
activated b/c the Admin User Account didn't have a password.

I don't think one should be able to clear the Admin User account password
unless logged in as the Admin and not merely a member of the ADMINS group to
avoid these kind of instances.

I did this once as well. You can restore things by
opening the mdb via your shortcut. Although you'll get no login prompt,
you'll still be using the secure mdw workgroup.
Dismiss the error message.
Go to Tools, Security, Accounts
Click on the Change Password tab and enter a password for the Admin User
(which is the user you're currently logged in as).

One thing you can do is create a user named aa with no password and no
permissions. This user will then appear first in the combobox, so that if
you hit clear password in a hurry, you aren't doing so for the Admin User.
