workgroup connection, MAC?

Cheryl S.

I'm having trouble connecting 4 PC's in a workgroup.
Three pC's see each other & the 4th PC can see them, but
the 4th PC can't be seen on anyone elses including
itself. What's missing? I have everything shared out on
everyone's & use TCPIP, DHCP, a router & a cable modem.
Could it be that the 4th pC is sharing a MAC address
with another piece of hardware that makes it not seen?
How do I change the mAC address or get to view a MAC
address to see if this is the problem? I'm at one wits
end on this...please help!!! Thank you very much!!!

Make sure the workgroup name is the same on all the PC's. Can you ping the
4th PC from the other machines? You can use ipconfig /all at the command
line to view the MAC address.

If you can, post back with the ipconfig /all results on all the pc's
