Wordprefect not working after upgrade to Windows XP

I upgraded to Windows XP from Windows 98 and now my
Wordprefect (v.8)will not open. On another system it just
hangs up when it's open. I need wordprefect, I have a lot
of documents in it. Please help

Probably best thing to do is un-install it, then install-again. This
will reset things. If still not working, check with Corel about how t
make it work. It's their product.

Remove & Reinstall WP.

Have you tried reinstalling Word Perfect?

Note - upgrades in place are rarely a good idea - best to back up all data,
install a clean copy of the OS, and reinstall applications. Also note that
you shouldn't post your email address in usenet, nor should you put a valid
email address in your news account properties - you're probably going to get
tons of spam and SWEN messages.
