Try saving your documents in a format other than WP. RTF will retain
most of the formatting, and can be read by pretty well anything.

I have WordPerfect 9 and my question is if can I download an
upgrade,

Two points:

1. WordPerfect is not part of Windows. It is not even a Microsoft
Product, but is made and sold by Corel.

2. Upgrades are available (the current version is WordPerfect
12), but are not free for downloading and have to be bought.

couse I have problems with a lot of people than can´t open my
files.

The reason they can't open your files has nothing to do with what
version you're using. It's because they don't have WordPerfect
installed on their machines.

Consider saving your files not as .wpd files (WordPerfect's
native format), but as .rtf files (which can be read by almost
any word processor).

Also I need a version in spanish. Finally, where I can do this?

I know nothing about the availablity of WordPerfect versions in
languages other than English, but if I were you, I'd contact
Corel with this question.
