Wordpad.exe

Hello,

Wordpad is not responding and when I try to end the wordpad.exe process I
get the following error:

THIS PROGRAM CANNOT BE CLOSED.
IF IT IS BEING DEBUGGED, PLEASE RESUME IT OR CLOSE THE DEBUGGER FIRST.

Please assist.

Not sure that that error message is *specific* to your Wordpad problem.
I often (mostly actually) get that same error message whenever I try to
close any non-responding program via task manager.

It's very annoying because it then becomes necessary to wait for the
debugger or whatever to time out before the system comes back. That can
take 5-10 minutes and it's quicker to reboot, so it's not particularly
helpful.

Seems to me that didn't used to happen when closing a program with task
manager. Perhaps its a configuration thing.
