Word97- How to bypass pages?

I have a Word97 document that is generated from a VBA macro. Only if a
certain variable is True do I want to tack on an additional 5 pages of text.
Using an "If..Then...Else..." with a DOCVARIABLE will not work because the
amount of text is very, very large. Can these additional pages be Merged into
this document if the variable is True? If so, how do I go about this?

You can store those extra pages as either an autotext entry, or simply
keep them in an external document with a fixed location (eg
C:\MyText.doc) and use copy and paste to 'insert' it.
