How can I print a scanned image from Word 97?

I received an email with an attached .doc file that contains a scanned
page image. I opened the document in Word97 but am having trouble
printing it from word.

From Word97, [file][print][OK] produces the following message.

"The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the
page. Do you want to continue? [yes]"

"There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the
requested font [ok]"

I saved the file in RTF format and imported it to OpenOffice. From
there I can print it and can make a .PDF file that prints.

My questions is, how can I print such a file from Word97?

Information will be appreciated,

Stan:

The document you have is corrupt.

Chances are, if you open the RTF version in Word 97, it will print that one.
Saving to RTF sometimes fixes the document.

Cheers
