I am having trouble opening attachments through my ATT Browser with word
..Every time I open an attachment with doc. the document opens but an error
message occur and the document closes. I have tried to reload word but that
does not seem to help. The message is runtime error has occured do you want
to debug what is wrong and how do i fix it I cant open my email RBC

What does the error message say? Please do not paraphrase. One word can

What is a "ATT browser"? Can you open Word documents that aren't
attachments?

At&T is my internet provider. When i open word on it own there does not seem
to be a problem. The at&T browser uses MS explorer i use version 7.

I knew ATT was your ISP. Your post made me think that ATT used it's own
flavor of broswer. Apparently not.

Why are you trying to open a Word doc with/thru Internet Explorer? If it's
an attachment, you should just be opening them in Word. Do you use Outlook
Express/Outlook/Windows Mail for your email or are you using a web-based
email program?

At&T does use its own browser but i think it sits on top of the internet
explorer. I am opening my email with attachments. if the attachment is a doc
Word opens it in the email. I do not use outlook to opening my mail

I would just suggest saving the attachments and then open them from the
saved location.
