How do I copy a Word template from my laptop to another computer?

Locate the corresponding file with a .dot extension and copy it like
any other file.

You can use the Tools > Options > File Locations dialog to find the
folder that contains your templates (it's labeled User Templates), or
you can use the Search feature in Windows Explorer to find all *.dot
files. (You may need to go into Explorer's options dialog and choose
to display hidden files and folders.)

The article at
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/WhatTemplatesStore.htm has
some information you should know about templates.

Same way you would copy any file. Use Windows Explorer to copy it to some
removable media, then copy it from that to the HD of the other computer.
