word template solution seeking

Hi ALL,

I have severals word template , and each template will use certain functions
and variables, i wanna to create a sth like gobal code file(module or class
etc) , so that all template can refer to . and if need changes , only change
in this central file.
just wonder is that possible to do that?

Yes, if you put the code in a template that you save in the Word Startup
folder, it will become and addin and the code in it will be available to all
documents.

It is in a network place, all workgroup templates are in network drive.

so when you say save the template in word startup folder , does that mean
startup

folder at individual computer.
