Word returns to top of document when I switch between windows

When I have multiple documents open, each time I switch between them, Word
returns to the top instead of where I was working. How can I fix this?

Hi Fred,

That shouldn't happen. Can you give some more info, so we can try to
reproduce the problem?
(Version? View you are using... Normal, Page Layout, Outline? Way you change
between documents... Task bar, Alt+Tab, Windows menu?)
