Word program won't load

In the middle of printing a document my Word program froze (hence the
printing process froze also) or visa versa. Now I can't get my Word program
to load. I have booted, rebooted, rererebooted, shut down computer, printer
etc. If I am lucky enough to cntrl alt delete I get an error message of
resources to low. All other program and internet access work fine. Any idea
how I can this "bubble" out of Word? I have got to have this program.!!!
