Hi,

We have a user who is having problems printing word documents (we are using Office 2007 although some of the problem documents are not 2007 documents).

This only happens on occasion but its happening more and more. She is on the only one on the network getting this problem.

The problem seems to happen with documents that are tracked or have comments in it. She can work away fine on the document and it looks as expected on the screen.

When she goes to print preview, sometimes it will only show you the middle section of the document so leaving big gaps top and bottom or it will show you the bottom right corner of the document (this is more common than the latter). When she prints any problem document she ALWAYS then gets an error message about the margins being outwith. However, when we check the margins they are not set outwith the printable area. If you click OK and print the document, it only prints what was in the print preview.

She gets round this problem by normally closing word off and re-opening. She can work away fine again and print documents, the problem may not come back for a couple of days or it may return a couple of hours later.

We have changed the "Print What" to document and document showing markup - neither makes any difference, setting the margins to something else - no difference, opening a different document or a new template doesn't seem to make any difference either and those documents in the print preview also cut off.

Any suggsetions?

Thanks v much

Have now done so - this only happens on occasions so hopefully this might have sorted it out! We will wait and see.....

Thanks again for your reply.
