Word, Please help!!

I know everyone has encountered this. I have am exsisting document I am
trying to edit. A certain spot the words are to bunched up together. When I
hit the spacebar to create some space between them it deletes the next
character. If you begin to type it starts deleting characters as you type and
you have tp type everything over again. How do you fix that? Thanks so much
for the help.

Press the Insert key once OR double-click on OVR on the status bar OR clear
the check box for "Overtype mode" in Tools | Options | Edit.
