Word opens on startup

All of a sudden, when I boot the computer, Word starts and displays a
document I have not worked on in ages.

Neither Word or the document is present in the Startup menu folder (for
me or for All Users). Also I used Startup Cop and do not see any related
startup item.

What's going on?

Hi

Try to run msconfig (Start - run - msconfig - ok)
In StartUp tab seach an item that calls to Word application or to your
document.
Unchek this item and restart again
