Word on close, 'normal.dot is used by another application or user'

Hi all,

My templates is located on the server, including normal.dot. Whenever I
close Word or Outlook 2003, the message 'This file is used by another
application or user' (S:\...\Normal.dot).

I understand Normal.dot should not be shared. Is that the cause of the above
error message? If so, can I move Normal.dot to my own drive but still using
templated from the server?
