Word finder

Hello...

I used to have a small simple program for finding words. It was meant to help
with crossword puzzles, but I used it to help me create passwords. The
interface would have one field where you'd enter in a question mark for each
unknow character in the word. For instance ?????1 would return every
five-letter word in its dictionary, and ?a??? would return every five letter
word with the second letter 'a'.

Unfortunately I can't find my archive of it now that I reformatted.

Any suggestions?

Funny which little apps you just don't feel right unless you have 'em. This one
helps me a ton when created dozens of passwords for users.

About 525 in a head to head.

It included an eight letter word over 2 triple word squares scoring
about 185.

Look at:

TEA (The Electronic Alveary). AFAIK this is the freeware DOS version which
runs ok on Windows, including XP. There are some other programs on this site
which are worth looking at.
