word document. It says document is unavailable

when i open a word document, the mesage 'ocument is not available' comes up.
I have tried to reinstall WORD, but this has not worked. I cannot save a
document, or open an existing one. This applies to templates.

I also keep getting the mesage 'you have changed global changes, would you
like to save changes'. I am unsure if this error is related
 
If you are running Norton AntiVirus, disable its Office Plug-in.
