Word Doc to CD

I know this probably earthshaking, but I was wondering if anyone knows if
there's a way to convert a Word document where each page can be displayed on
a television (CD player) where each page in the document displays on the
television screen, sorta lke an E-Book.

I have a family history in Word I'd like to put onto a CD player-readable
disc so that my elderly relatives who are afraid of and don't have computers
could read the document on their TV page by page

I have Ulead's Pictureshow software whic will put photos into a viewable
pictureshow, but haven't explored whether that kind of software will convert
individual pages into the equivalent images ( the family history is ~200
pages).

Any ideas or feedback would be appreciated!

You could create .pdfs from the pages then save the .pdfs as .jpgs but you
will need Acrobat (not the free Reader) for that.

If these elderly relatives are like mine, they would much prefer to read a
printed document, preferably one printed in large type, rather than try to
read fuzzy print on a TV (which doesn't have the same resolution as a
computer).

Or save as a tiff from the Office Imaging virtual printer in XP/2003 --
nicely multipage and good quality.

But it still sounds like this is a good application for dead trees and
toner.

SnagIt (www.techsmith.com) includes a driver that will output multi-page
documents to a variety of graphics formats including jpg.

Forget elderly relatives--I'm young and I like my computer, and sure
wouldn't want to read anything on a TV screen. Paper is definitely
better--what it costs in copying and mailing you will save in time by not
having to put this together and talk your relatives through it on the phone.

By the way, can CDs even do that? Wouldn't you need a DVD to get images onto
a TV? And then you would have to make sure the elderly relatives have DVD
players.

Actually yes- you can put DVD readable screen shows and short DVD sequences
on CD blanks.

Sure - but the comment was in response to Daiya's question. The confusion
arises by using the word CD to describe both the player and the medium. Here
I refer to the medium
