Word Copy & Paste

This question may be posted in the wrong section but here goes anyway.
How do I or can I, get an Excel spreadsheet to fit onto 1 page in Word?
I have tried copy, paste, and autofit to no avail. It gets it 1 page wide
(wraps text on some cells) and 2 or more pages long, depending on the size of
the spreadsheet.

Any suggestions?

Hi Rick,

In Excel you can click on File and Page Set Up and under Scaling where it
says pages wide by delete the number.

Also, if you just want someone to see the sheet, you can highlight all the
data in Excel and depress your Shift key and click on Edit and Copy as
Picture and then paste the picture into your Word document. That way you can
reformat the picture to fit on the page.

If your Excel spreadsheet is more than 2 pages long, then
shrinking it to fit onto 1 page in Word will probably make it too
small to read without the aid of a microscope.

When pasting into Word, click on Edit | Paste Special | Paste:
As: Picture | OK. Pasting as a picture means that you cannot
edit the Excel spreadsheet from Word, and the pasted picture is
not linked to the original Excel spreadsheet. If it becomes
necessary to change the Excel spreadsheet, then you'll need to do
that in Excel, and then copy and paste the revised spreadsheet
into Word.

In Word 2000 and earlier, there is a limit to how much you can
paste as a picture from Excel. Word cannot shrink the selected
Excel range to less than 69% of its original size. If the
selected range must be smaller than 69% of original to fit on the
Word page, then the selected range is shrunk to 69% and any extra
columns or rows are truncated.
