Hi,
I tried to open and print a Word 2007 at a computer that still runs Word
2003, but seemed the Word 2003 don't recognized the document file at all.
What I should do besides download and install "FileFormatConverter.exe" at
the computer that still has Word 2003?
Thanks!

PS: does this FileFormatConverter will works with Excel, Publisher and other
Office 2007 documents?

Without the Office 2007 compatibility pack -

open Word 2007 documents with Word 2003.

That is true. But he CAN open his 2007 Word document on his own computer
(with Word 2007) and save it as as Word 2003 document. Use the Save As
function. That version will work on the computer with Word 2003.

To answer the 2nd part of your question, yes... the Office 2007
compatibility pack allows you to open all new Office 2007 "x" files (Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint 2007) in Office 2000 through Office 2003. Publisher
2007 still uses the .pub format, and doesn't have a pubx format (not yet, at
least).

Hi Herb,
thanks for the reply, and also thanks to Graham & Panic for additional infos
as well.
I've downloaded the ConverPack.exe and install them in Word 2003 computer,
works well and I can open, edit & print the Word 2007 documents now.
