Problem converting 2007 WPd v7 docs to office 2003 doc.

I have downloaded the 'fileformatconverters'.exe and opened it. It says it is
complete. Yet, I still cannot open a Word wpd v7 file. what am I doing wrong?

To open a .docx file in Word2003, you need to download the
Compatibility Pack, not file format converters.
