word 2007 templates

When I select File & New in Word 2007 the files listed always display as
icons. Can I set it so that the default view is list?
 
As far as I know, you cannot change how Word displays the templates in Office
button | New.

Thanks for replying. It's a shame though. I prefer list view when I've got
lots of documents to choose from.
