Where is the setting in Word 2007 to embed a custom True Type font,
restricting it to Fonts In Use, in the document?

Go to Office button > Word Options > Save. The option is at the bottom of the
dialog.

When "Embed fonts" is turned on, it's always restricted to fonts used in the
document. There's a further option to embed only the *characters* used in the
document, rather than the entire font file.

Yes! Thanks so much, Jay. I literally spent hours looking for this, to no
avail. And M/S Help was no help either. Thanks again.
