Word 2007 font list is double spaced. How do I fix it.

When I launch the Font dialog box in Word 2007, the font list box is twice
the height of the font style and font size boxes and the list of fonts is
double spaced. This doesn't happen in Excel. If anyone has encountered this
situation, I'd appreciate to know what is causing it and how to change it.

If you start Word in Safe mode (hold Ctrl as you start the application), do
you still see this?
