Word 2007 envelope feature insert a saved address

I am trying to create an envelope in the Word 2007 home/student version.
I have been using it with no problems. Untill now. I cannnot get it to
insert saved addresses in the return address space or the delivery space. It
says I have to log into the MS Exchange in order to access my address book. I
have no use for MS Ex as I use this at home. What's up with this?

This function requires that the addresses are saved in Outlook Contacts and
that Outlook is the default e-mail application..

Thank you for your response, however, I have been able to insert these
"saved" addresses while using Word 2007 for 3 months now. I am not sure why
it would change without my changing default settings. I have never used the
Outlook feature.
