Addressing an envelope, the address appears double-spaced, why?

When addressing an envelope using WORD 2007 in the Mailings menu, the address
appears on the envelope double-spaced. How do I correct this to single-space?

Open the envelope box, highlight the entire address. Right click on the
address and select Font. Click on the Character Spacing tab and make sure the
settings are 100%, Normal, Normal
