Word 2007 change y in page x of y

I'm wanting to change the y in 'page x of y' to y-1 in word 2007.

What it is, is page one if the document is a title page and I've set x on page two to one, however I can't workout how to change the y. I understand in previous word versions you could enter {NUMPAGES}-1 but I tried this and it didn't seem to work.
