Word 2003

When I use Word, the cursor is not visible. It sometimes makes it difficult
to see when the next character will be placed. How do I change this?
Thanks.
 
Problems with the cursor size are common in Word 2003. Have you tried
changing the zoom to 500% and then back to what you want?
