word stopped working when i upgraded to xp. Is there a patch to help me ?
 
Are you getting any errors? Does Word open? (via Start menu or
double-clicking on a file)? If not, does Excel or any other Office
application open?

Can you go to the Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs and Repair Office?
