I've once made a mistake making a document in Word 2000 with certain setting
which I now want to change. However, I can't succeed.
I can't change color and there is a vertical line to the left of every
"miscolored" text section.
I've tried to export the doc. to note pad for a change there and return it
but without success.
WILL ANYONE OUT THERE PLEASE HELP ME?

This sounds like tracking changes - Accept all changes and turn off
tracking.

Sorry, I don't know what "tracking" means. Where do I find "trackings" and
where and how do I turn it off.
Thanks for Your help.

Tools | Track Changes. If you see TRK in black on the status bar,
double-click it to turn Track Changes off. But you will still need to accept
all the changes in order to remove the markup. I'm not sure how this is done
in Word 2000, but you should find it somewhere in the Track Changes dialog.
