Word 2000 reinstallation

My Dell 8100 came with WinME, Works and Word installed.
Of necessity, I switched from WinME to Win 2000, keeping
Works and Word. Unfortunately, a week ago on an attempt
to open Word, a drop-down insisted I write the CD-key
code. As this software was installed by Dell, I never had
such code.

I don't have a word processor without this info.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Works Suite disk, which includes Word, is usually supplied by Dell. May
be included on one of yr recovery Disks
