Word 2000, moving a page to a new location in the document

Marty

I have a document that consists of many pages of photos,
two per page, with a figure number on top and a captions
text box in the middle or at the bottom of the page. When
I created this file I did not know what the figure numbers
would end up being. As I've now numbered them, the pages
are not in order. Is there some way, like one can easily
do in PowerPoint in the Slider Sorter view, for me to move
the pages around in the document without having to go
through a lot of nasty cutting and pasting? Thanks.

Hi Marty,

Sorry, no, Word doesn't have this capability. A layouting
program, such as Publisher or Adobe PageMaker has that sort
of thing, but not a word-processor.
