Word 2000 - Footer Page X of Y...

Frustrating Issue

Hi all,

Please can you help,

I have a Word document and have a footer set up that shows
Page x of y, - on screen (and in print preview)this looks
perfect i.e. Page 1 of 70, Page 2 of 70 etc. however when
I print the footer changes to Page 1 of 1, page 2 of
2, ....., page 70 of 70.
Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is happening? and
more importantly how can I resolve this issue?

If I recall correctly, turning off "background printing" in Tools,
Options will fix it. If I miss remembered, please post your question to
a newsgroup that addresses Word or Office issues.
