won't shut down, blue screen

Bud

I have been fighting this problem for a long time now.
The computer will not shut down. I get a blue error
screen with the code:
stop: 0x0000007e
(0xc0000005,0xf88ed941,0xf896c9c0,0xf896c6c0)
kbdclass.sys- adress f88ed941 base at f88ed00, datestamp
3d6ddad3

Looks like a keyboard error? It's a Compaq Presario desk
top with a 2 g p4 and 512 ram. The keyboard is stand the
mouse is a logitech cordless. I'm desperate.
Thank you
Bud
