Won't Run after install

I have installed SpyWare, uninstalled and reinstalled. It
will not run after installation. I am running Windows 2000
Pro SP4. What's up with this. I have the icon in the
system try but it won't do anything. I installed in on an
XP Pro machine and it works fine.

Are you getting an error message of any kind?

Have you tried:

Start, control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change,
update?

No, nothing at all happens. I either double click or right
click to do a scan on the icon in the system tray and
nothing happens.

Have you restarted your system since this began? (and have you tried the
update proceducre?)

I am also running WIN2K - latest SP updates...
Program BOMBS when going to execute with a 'CRITICAL'
Error 101.
I too have gone through the same 'dance' (uninstall, et
al) to no avail.
.... another 'quality' Microsoft product.
