won't reset home page

When I try to make a new home page and apply it it works
as long as I don't close my browser. Once I close my
browser and re-open, IE it takes me back to my old home
page.This is getting very frustrating, can some one
please help?

Hello, Kyle

Make sure there is no hidden pluin present (e.g. BHO-Browser Helper Object)
that alters your home page bihind the scene. You can use "Unextension"
utility for that
