Won't recognize user information

I changed my network settings to Workgroup from DNS, now
the windows logon prompt won't recongnize my user
information.

Any suggestions on how to back-out or work around the
problem so I can logon again?

Unless you know the local Administrators password, no. You will have to
return the machine to the network where it belongs and ask the system
administrator to rejoin it for you.

It must be an epidmic. I think there are almost half a dozen of these exact
situations with different people in this group the last couple days.
