Wont close or send/recieve

[Double Trouble]

Outlook 2007 will not close. When I use the red X or file exit, it just sits
there. The only way to end the program is to use task manager.

Also wont send/recieve emails.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled it.

What addins do you have installed? Are you syncing with a handheld device?
