First splash screen then restarts. Wont start in Safe Mode or get command
line

I thinks its a virus

Hi Julian

Do you see a screen that gives you an option to try 'Last Known Good Configuration'? If so, try that. If you don't see that screen, reboot and then keep hitting F8 until you do see it. If you PC won't start in Safe Mode, you may not have the option to System Restore from there - but it may be worth a try.

Failing those - and depending on which XP CD you have - you may be looking at a 'Repair' install, which will mean downloading and reinstalling the Windows Updates - unless you have them on CD.
