wmpdxm.dll error in IE6

Everytime I open IE6 I get the message WMPDXM.DLL has
caused an error in IE--IE will now close. It then shuts
down and reloads. What can I do to fix this?

When I right-click on this file and select Properties and look under the
Version tab, it looks to be something related to Windows Media Player
(WMP). Have you tried to reinstall WMP
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/default.asp)?

I just uninstalled,then reinstalled, WMP 9
