WMP9 Freezes whole computer

J

Jay

I am running a dell workstation and I have WM9 and Windows
2000 Professional.

Whenever I try to download any video, WM player comes up
starts to connect, then I get the audio, but no video. The
whole computer freezes when the audio is playing including
the mouse. When the audio is over the computer is still
stuck and I cant do anything, not even CNTRL+ALT+DLT.

I have to actually press the reboot button on the computer
to start up again.

I already downloaded the Windows Updates and the DIVX
Codec.

PLEASE HELP ME!
Thanks,
Jay

Presumably this should mean that your video card driver isn't working right-

should be a fair start.
