WMP problem....help

I have tried multiple times to update WMP 10 to WMP 11 but it always stops
just before it is complete giving me an error message and no explanation.
Any ideas?
 
These two log files contain the setup information for WMP11.

c:\windows\wmp11.log
c:\windows\wmpsetup.log

See if there are any "Access is denied" errors recorded in the logs.

BTW, there is a newsgroup dedicated for Windows Media Player.
