WMP 11

I upgraded WMP 9 to WMP 11. The install is ok. WMP 11 now opens only
minimized to task bar. I am unable to restore it to full screen. I need help
to resolve this problem. Win XP SP2 is upto date including WMP updates.

Create a desktop shortcut to
"%ProgramFiles%\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /Task:NowPlaying

Select the shortcut's "maximized window". Open WMP > View > Full Mode
(or similar). If this doesn't help, repost to the appropriate group.

It's possibly off-screen. After starting the program, right-click the
Taskbar, click "Cascade Windows" to bring it into view.
