WMP 9 opens when computer is turned on - Help

I recently downloaded the upgrade to WMP 9.0 and now
everytime I start my computer, WMP 9 opens automatically.
How can I change my configurations so WMP does not open
when I turn on my computer. I want to open WMP only when
I want it turned on.

I have the same issue as described by the poster below
(Mr. Jim M). Can anyone provide the trick to resolve the
issue or fix the "problem", if it is a problem or bug
(still)?
