wmm not starting

no response to my earlier post, let me try this... If I reinstall service
pk2, it should make movie maker work again... right? By reinstalling it,
would it effect any other programs or settings I currently I have?

right about Movie Maker... and unless you've done something out of the
ordinary, I'd expect it to be OK with your other apps.
