WMM - keeps shutting down!! help

Been working on the WMM without problems till 2days back. Everytime i import
a video file, it shuts down on me... after i reboot my PC - it stills does
the same thing...

can anyone help me out here??

What files are you trying to import, MM only works properly with dv-avi or
wmv video, bitmap stills, wmv/wav/wma audio.

Have you made any changes to your pc from when it last worked? If so, try
using system restore to go back.
