WM Sign-In Listings

Am currently using XP Home SP1 and WM 4.7

I am wondering if it is possible to delete/hide or deactivate old WM logins
that show up on the Sign In dropdown menu?

One reason for this is that one of the logins used to belong to a former
partner, and my current partner gets rather irritated when she sees my ex's
old login listed.

Any help would be appreciated

Greetings,

To remove these names, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click
User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side of
the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that
opens, you can remove an account by clicking the passport you wish to delete [denoted by
(Passport)], and then click the 'Remove' button. For more detailed instructions and
screenshots on this procedure, see here:

To stop them from being saved at all, simply download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/disablenetcreds.reg
You'll need to reboot to see the change.

Thank you very much for the advice: so obvious, so simple and yet I must
have overlooked it first time round! (Typical case of can't see the wood for
the trees!)

Thanks again
