Hello,
I've been running a dual boot system with Windows 98 and XP, I had to
move to a bigger drive, so I made images of both partitions and put
them on the new drive. Windows 98 (on drive C then refused to load,
so I did a sys C: at which point 98 loaded fine but I had no boot menu
and couldn't get into XP (on drive D. I then ran the XP disc and did
a fixboot. Now the boot menu works and XP loads fine, but if try to
get into 98 I just get a blinking cursor> I've tried the Microsoft
instructions for fixing the XP boot loader, but that didn't help. In
the system configuration utility I've run the "Check all boot paths"
and it shows everything is fine.
There must be a simple solution why 98 won't load, but I can't seem to
find it. Can anyone come up with any suggestions? Thanks,
Brian
