collection off with several programs I use. </quote>

Unless you got permission from Microsoft to distribute their....

MsConfig

and/or

WinMe Defrag

and/or

MS Hearts

programs you might get yourself into trouble. Distributing any
commercial software/games etc. without the copyright owner's
permission is usually a dangerous practice. Unless specifically
allowed by the owner. In this case MS.

Along the same line.
I have a very neat program called RoboType which was free from PC magazine.
It is now subscription / payware (but cheap).
If I contribute can I get in trouble?

You've got some good stuff there, Frank. Thanks.

Just to make it clear, I quoted the wording from the website, neither the
wording nor the website is mine. It appears from another post in the thread
that some of the programs may not be legitimate.

Almost all software comes with a licence and/or contact details of the
author, or copyright holder. You would need to read the licence and/or
contact the author to find out whether you would be doing something
legal or not. If not then you could find yourself in a financial
problem with the owner of the program.
